1) Slip metal hanger over movement shaft (if using) and top with rubber washer
2) Mount the movement from the backside of the clock through the clock face. On the face put the metal washer over the shaft and screw down with the large hex nut. Tighten enough to keep the movement from sliding around.
3) Press hand with round hole on the white part of the shaft at the 12 position. Next align hand with slotted hole on top of shaft at the 12 position and fasten the closed cap or small open nut. If using the second hand, push into the end of the shaft like a pin.
4) Advanced hands by using the turn knob on the back of the movement to test that the hands don't bind.
5) Adjust as needed.
6) Install battery
